What to Expect

This page has been created so you can let people know what to expect when they visit your church.

Here are 4 ideas to help you get started:

How long is the service? It’s nice to know how long a service typically runs so people can plan accordingly.
What about kids? Visitors with children like to know what to do when they first walk in—should they head to the kid’s classrooms or bring them into the main service? Also, they want to know what kind of care their child will be receiving.
What’s the service like? Let people know the style of music, whether the service is formal or informal, and other details so they know what to expect. Try to make these details reflect the mission and values of your church.
How do people normally dress? People feel more comfortable in a new place when they don’t feel like they stand out.

How long is the service?

The service usually lasts about an hour.

What about kids?

A nursery is available during all services at the church. During the morning worship service, there is a children's sermon. The children are then dismissed to either stay in the sanctuary or go to the preschool room where there is a lesson and activities.

What’s the service like?

We sing from the 2008 hymn book mainly. There is usually a Scriptural responsive reading or a skit and a song by the choir. We also have a children's sermon so the children can learn what takes place in the main worship service. The sermons are preached straight from the Bible usually verse by verse.

It is our desire for everyone to be apart of the worship service.

How do people normally dress?

We will have a few people in suits, most will be business casual, and some in blue jeans. What matters to us is that we are tuning our hearts to God's heart and invite others to join us. Will we see you Sunday?
